Another Milestone: Baby's First Thai Food

I have to brag, George is an excellent eater. He is not picky at all and will try anything we give him. He loves fruit and vegetables and would eat a dozen bananas a day if we let him. We really hope that this continues. Grandpa Tom and Grandma Julie came to visit this past weekend. We went to lunch at a Thai restaurant and George enjoyed sharing everyone's food. He also got the run of the restaurant since there was hardly anyone there.

It is amazing that in just the past few days George has gone from mostly crawling to mostly walking. He also is talking more, saying mama and dada especially clearly. He also has his own words for dog, blankie, and binky. He has started to pick up the sign language we have been using with him. Right now he thinks that the sign for milk goes for anything he wants so we are working on the differentiating between food, drink, etc.

I promise he does wear pants. It seems that when the camera comes out he is never wearing any though.

George is Home and Doing Well

Some of you may know George had tubes put in both of his ears today. We arrived at the hospital at 7:30 am to check in. All 3 of us hung out in a pre-op room until 8:30 when he went back for surgery. He was very smiley and flirting with all the nurses before his surgery. John and I went to the waiting room and less than 10 minutes later the surgeon was done and telling us that everything went well. After 10 more minutes we met George in recovery. He was upset but I think it was mostly because he hadn't been able to eat or drink since last night. He got some juice and we left 20 minutes later. We are home now and George is very happy and doing well. Thanks to everyone for your prayers and well wishes.
