It's been a long time

It's been a while since we posted. Sorry! Since the weather has gotten nice we have been playing outside and keeping very busy. Here are some pictures of George. Recently George has wanted to use a fork or spoon with meals when he sees mommy or daddy doing it. He is very proud when he manages to get food in his mouth. Here he this morning eating cereal with a spoon like mommy.

1 Year Check Up

George had his one year check up yesterday. He is 33 inches tall and 25 lbs 7 oz. He is a very tall boy. Almost above the charts for his age. We knew there was some tall genes in our families (Beasleys and Lewis) and I was hoping they would combat those short genes (namely the Berrys). So far it looks like they have won. George is a little ahead developmentally since he can walk so well now and can say about half a dozen words. All in all our little boy is doing great!

He also has seemed to inherit some clumsiness from his mama. Scrapes and bruises are an ongoing thing. I don't see that stopping anytime soon.
